The Rococo gown is quite sumptuous in its appearance and execution. The baroque-inspired gold and black silk brocade fabric lends an undeniable opulence, which is then further accentuated by the quilted black velvet shawl collar and the painstakingly hand-knotted belt fringe.

The gown is piped throughout in black cord and is entirely handmade in England.

The lapels and gauntlet cuffs are faced with a luxurious velvet quilting. A signature feature of our lined dressing gowns, the quilting provides additional comfort and warmth while adding shape and structure to the robe.

Gauntlet cuffs trace their origins to military and labour uniforms, where they were designed to provide added protection and durability. Reinterpreted here, the extended cuff brings a sense of structure and purpose to the design, lending the garment an elevated, classic character.
