Cashmere Backed Silk

Crafted in the United Kingdom, this dual-layer fabric pairs a pure silk outer with a cashmere backing. The silk face offers a smooth surface and subtle lustre, lending clarity and richness to the finish, while the cashmere reverse introduces warmth and a gentle softness against the skin. Together, the two fibres create a material that balances elegance with comfort — a considered union of performance and luxury.

The New & Lingwood Peacock

Our signature Peacock motif is an evolution of a pattern found on a 19th century silk ceremonial robe from Russia. The intricate design featured floral patterns woven amongst peacocks in bold colourful patterns, as was typical of artisans at the time. To make the design our own, we isolated and simplified the peacock to a three-colour pattern that we freshly render in different colour palettes.
